Inside Anderson Creek Lodge you'll find lots of great places to sit and relax. The huge stone fireplace is over two stories tall and 12 feet wide. It's made of beautiful glacial rock from Mt. Baker. At the base of the fireplace is a sunken seating area with mounds of pillows. This is a great place for conversations, sampling local wines or quietly reading a favorite book.
At the top of the fireplace seating area is a chaise lounge that beckons irresistibly for you to sit back and watch the fire dance over the logs in the fireplace. Or have a conversation with someone sitting across the way near the piano.
Around the corner from the chaise lounge, is a large seating area waiting for you to sink into the comfort of two love seats and a couch. This is a great place to catch a glimpse of the llamas outside or chat with friends and family.
Across the entry way, you'll see a large oak desk where you're welcome to spread out papers, maps or plug in a laptop. Or if you want to sit in some of the other areas and need table space, just ask for one of our portable personal tables. It has four height settings and has plenty of room for a laptop.
If you want to watch a movie or some TV, go to our sitting room. You can have fun watching cable TV or a video or DVD from our in house collection or a nearby video rental store. You can also read a book or play a game by the fireplace as you enjoy a view of the north garden and woods. An accent wall of brick with a glass-door fireplace, wood paneling and wood beamed ceiling will make you want to take a seat and relax. When was the last time you played a board game? Choose one of our many board games to play as you and your game partner sit in the two Queen Anne chairs in front of the fireplace.
The dining room has a small fridge stocked with water and soft drinks. You'll also find a microwave, coffee maker and a large basket full of various teas. Come here anytime to quench your thirst and watch our prize-winning llama, Amazon, as he looks out at the trees, mountains and the seven lady llamas. Oak tables, chairs and antique side pieces and views of the llama fields help make breakfast time special. You might catch a glimpse of the llamas having their breakfast too! But the best part of the dining room are the delicious breakfasts you'll enjoy. Have you ever had fresh apple pancakes made with locally grown organic apples and real organic maple syrup?
